Eva Lee married Fred W. White in Burt county, NE around 1910. Anna married James Bowden on 1 Mar 1899 in Onawa, Monona county, Iowa (not in 1900 in Tekamah as obituary states). They moved to a farm near Tekamah/Decatur, NE. In the early 1900's they moved into Tekamah town. James and Anna had three sons, Darald B., James Clifford and Donald who died in infancy. Plaindealer (Tekamah, NE); 28 Mar 1957 One of Tekamah's pioneer women, Mrs. Delila Anna Bowden, was taken by death at the home of her son, Darald, March 24. She had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Schafer and Peck Funeral Home with Dr. John W. Harbaugh in charge. Mrs. Howard Hovendick sang "The City Four Square" and "Saved By Grace". Mrs. J.R. Hume was pianist. Pallbearers were Tom Tobin, Ralph Purcell, Leland Hurlocker, Ralph Jackson, Lloyd Jackson and Reno Rice. Interment was in Tekamah cemetery. Delila Anna McCllough [sic], daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCllough, was born at Whiting, Ia., May, 9, 1874, and died at the home of her son, Darald, in Tekamah March 24, 1957, at the age of 82 years, ten months and 15 days. She was married to James Bowden at Tekamah in 1900. Three sons and one daughter were born to this union. One son, Donald, died in infancy. Mr. Bowden preceded her in death in November of 1953. Survivors include two sons, Darald of Tekamah and Clifford of Omaha; one daughter, Mrs. Evia [sic] White of San Francisco, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
