Read More	Faulkton - Delilah Albers, 94, of Faulkton and formerly of Seneca, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, at the Faulkton Healthcare Center. Funeral service were held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at the United Church of Faulkton with Rev. Bruce Adams officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery, Seneca, directed by Luce Funeral Home, Faulkton. Delilah F. Buechler was born Feb. 8, 1912, in Parmelee, S.D., to Jacob and Rose (Hettick) Buechler. At an early age she moved with her family to Seneca. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith and received her education at the Seneca and Gutenkauf schools. On March 27, 1938, she married Carl Albers of Seneca. They resided northeast of Seneca until the spring of 1944 when they bought the Bill Hagenlock farm. Along with helping Carl farm, Delilah also had an upholstery shop on the farm and loved doing this work for 35 years. In 1985, they decided it was time to retire and bought a new home and moved into Seneca and resided there until April of 2005 when both she and her husband Carl moved into the Faulkton Healthcare Center. In her retirement years, Delilah loved spending the winters in Florida with her daughter Bonnie and her family and coming back to Seneca in the spring to work in her yard and plant her flowers. Delilah was very active in the Seneca area and the Senior Center along with working in the Lutheran church. Delilah will be remembered by many for her wonderful cooking skills whether she was hosting a dinner party, entertaining friends and especially all the wonderful holiday dinners that she hosted for her family. Delilah's greatest love was her family which she is survived by husband, Carl; children: William (Jan) of Minneapolis, Minn., and Bonnie (Charles) of Belleview, Fla.; three grandchildren: Todd (Julie) Deuter of Florida, Brian (Susan) Albers of Minneapolis, and Melanie (Anders) Korsgren of Minneapolis; four great-grandchildren who are her angels: Cody of Florida, and Matthew, Evan, and Olivia of Minneapolis; a brother, Joe and sister Ella, both of South Dakota; and two very caring, kind, compassionate and special ladies: Isabelle Beckler and Shirley Greiner who helped make her life easier when her health started failing; and also missed by many relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son; three brothers; and two sisters. Aberdeen News 2/24/2006
