Description	:	Deloris E. Avery, 86, of Redfield, SD, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Eastern Star Home in Redfield with family by her side. Funeral service will be Monday, April 25, 2016 at United Methodist Church in Redfield. Burial will be at Tulare Cemetery. Deloris Avery attended Boltman country school and graduated from Tulare High School in 1947. She married Kenneth Avery on May 25, 1951. Deloris Avery attended Boltman country school and graduated from Tulare High School in 1947. She married Kenneth Avery on May 25, 1951. Four children were born to this union, Wayne, Barbara, Pamela and Martin. Deloris and Ken lived in several places early in their marriage from Tulare to Sioux Falls back to Tulare and then on to Seattle, WA where their first two children were born. They returned to South Dakota where Deloris worked side by side with her husband in their auto glass and repair business and began doing auto and home upholstery. Deloris enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, reading, and playing cards, but most of all, spending time with family and friends. Deloris is survived by her husband, Ken; her children: Wayne (Shari Budahl) Avery, Brookings, Barbara (Bob) Avery-Sterud, Sioux Falls, Martin (Jessica) Avery, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Robin Avery, Sioux Falls, Amber Groft, Redfield, Travis (Teresa) Holm, Sioux Falls, Addison Avery, Sioux Falls, Evin and Rider Avery, both of Fargo; and four great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Erica Groft and Avery and Tresten Holm. She is also survived by her sister, Laura Fliehe, Aberdeen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela; five sisters; four brothers. Published in The Argus Leader on Apr. 22, 2016
