Description	:	Deloris Mae Dietrich, known to everyone as “Dee” went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening May 16, 2018 from her home. Dee was born to Floyd and Eldora Edgar in Central City, NE. on May 24, 1931. The family moved to Gering NE. where she was raised. In 1952 Dee married Elmer K. Dietrich in Ventura, CA. where he was stationed in the United States Navy. They returned to Gering in 1957 to farm and ranch in Scottsbluff County & several surrounding counties in Nebraska/Wyoming. Dee was born to Floyd and Eldora Edgar in Central City, NE. on May 24, 1931. The family moved to Gering NE. where she was raised. In 1952 Dee married Elmer K. Dietrich in Ventura, CA. where he was stationed in the United States Navy. They returned to Gering in 1957 to farm and ranch in Scottsbluff County & several surrounding counties in Nebraska/Wyoming. On her birthday in May of 1957, she and Elmer chose to give their life to the Lord and were baptized together at the Church of Christ. As a member of the Church of Christ Gering/Torrington area Dee shared her gift of music as a pianist/organist for many years. Dee was the district manager’s secretary & held several other positions at Safeway Grocery Stores for 30 years. She received the “Woman of the Year” award from Scotts Bluff County, recognizing her ability to juggle, driving 100 miles to and from work, child rearing, church work, and farm and ranch wife. Dee was organized, neat & tidy. Survivors include: Son; Jim Dietrich & wife Connie Mitchell, NE. Daughter; Kathy Evans Macksville, KS. Brother; Maynard Edgar & wife Ruthie, Branson, MO. Brother-in-law; Steve Lawrence Fresno, CA. Sister-in-law; Nadine Dietrich Scottsbluff, NE. Five grandchildren; Neri Evans, Belpre KS. John Kirt Evans & wife Shelly, Macksville KS. Kandi Evans, Goodwell, OK. Nisha Dietrich, Kihei HI, Trevor Dietrich, Westminster, CO. and 5 great grandchildren,1 great great grandson, & numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Floyd & Eldora Edgar, sister Jeanine Lawrence, niece Jeannie German, and her husband Elmer Dietrich.
