Description	:	Earl Dennis Marquis, aged 5 years, five months, and seventeen days, died of scarlet fever, followed by Brights Disease, at his home in Van Wert, Iowa, Friday afternoon and the body was brought here Saturday for interment in the Villisca Cemetery. He was the son of Earl Duke Marquis and his wife Hester W. Spargur, formerly of this place and they have numerous friends in this vicinity who mourn with them in their grief.
