Description	:	Dessie May Schoonover, 99, of Route 2, Belington, died Wednesday evening, July 6, 2005, at the home of a daughter-in-law, following an extended illness. She was born April 27, 1906, near Belington, a daughter of the late Jake Riley England and the late Zora Godwin England. On May 3, 1924, she was married to Stuart B. Schoonover, who preceded her in death Feb. 4, 1978. Also surviving are one son, Gerald Schoonover and wife, Shirley, of Niles, Ohio; one daughter , Carol Hillyard and husband, Fax, of Elyria, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Agatha Ruth Schoonover, with whom she had made her home for several years; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 24 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Geraldine schoonover and Joan Everson; three sons, Glenn Alfred Schoonover, and twin infant sons, three sisters; one grandson, Doug Hillyard; one great granddaughter and one great great grandson. Mrs. schoonover was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mountain View Farm Women's Club, Belington Rebekah Lodge 181 and the Valley Bend Baptist Church.
