She was born August 28, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Roland and Helen Lynch, also of Roxana. She was a member of the Blackwater Fellowship Church and a 40 year member of the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Diana will be sincerely missed by her many friends in the Church, Fire Company and community for her good heartedness and the willingness to give of herself. Lynch Huntington Age 64, of Roxana, DE, passed away on March 4th, 2011. She was born August 28, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Roland and Helen Lynch, also of Roxana. She was a member of the Blackwater Fellowship Church and a 40 year member of the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Diana will be sincerely missed by her many friends in the Church, Fire Company and community for her good heartedness and the willingness to give of herself. No matter the circumstances she was willing to help those that were in need. She will forever be remembered by her family for the many years that she was the main care provider for her late mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Gerald. Diana is survived by her brothers, Roland, Norman and his wife Mary Grace, Barry; and a sister, Shirley Collins and her husband George; 9 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; 2 great great nephews, of which one, Joseph Rosie, Jr. was her constant companion and buddy. She is also survived by Asher Rogers and dearest friend Nancy Besner. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, at 2 pm, at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street in Frankford, where friends may call after 1 pm. Burial will be in Roxana Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Diana's memory to the Roxana V.F. C. Ladies Auxiliary, 35943 Zion Church Rd, Frankford, DE. 19945 or the Blackwater Fellowship Church, 34492 Roxana Rd, Frankford, DE. 19945.
