Description	:	Diana Lynn Merschbrock, 41, 100 5th St., West Point, died at 6:59 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at her home. She was born Feb. 12, 1961, at Fort Madison, the daughter of Kenneth R. and Doris J. Menke Kempker. She married Dale Merschbrock, May 26, 1983. They later divorced. She worked at the Fort Madison Health Center then for Dr. Denner, Dr. Stein and worked at the West Point Care Center as a housekeeping supervisor, then at Sonny's Supermarket. Read More	Diana Lynn Merschbrock, 41, 100 5th St., West Point, died at 6:59 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at her home. She was born Feb. 12, 1961, at Fort Madison, the daughter of Kenneth R. and Doris J. Menke Kempker. She married Dale Merschbrock, May 26, 1983. They later divorced. She worked at the Fort Madison Health Center then for Dr. Denner, Dr. Stein and worked at the West Point Care Center as a housekeeping supervisor, then at Sonny's Supermarket. She was on the Sweet Corn Festival Committee, Marquette Organized Boosters and was a cookie mom for the Girl Scouts. She attended Aquinas High School and Northeast Missouri State College, Kirksville, Mo., for three years. She is survived by two daughters, Katie and Jennifer Merschbrock, both of West Point; her mother of Fort Madison; three brothers, Richard Kempker, Fort Madison, Kenneth Kempker II, Hamilton, Ill. and Daniel Kempker, Farmington; three sisters, Barbara Dinwiddie, Christy Holtkamp and Sandra Welding, all of Fort Madison; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father and four nephews. Friends may call after 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, at St. Mary's Church, West Point, where the family will meet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and a Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, at the church, with Fr. Robert McAleer and Fr. Apo officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Fort Madison. Lunch will follow the service at the church on Saturday and the graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the cemetery. A memorial has been established for her children's education and contributions may be left at King-Lynk Funeral Home, Fort Madison.
