Diane was born July 25, 1953 in Lima, OH, to Gail and Thelma (Shirkey) Knupp who both preceded her in death. Diane graduated from Bath High School in 1971. Diane was born July 25, 1953 in Lima, OH, to Gail and Thelma (Shirkey) Knupp who both preceded her in death. Diane graduated from Bath High School in 1971. She worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation for thirty years. Diane was a member at the Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren. She cherished her family dearly and loved spending time with them. Diane is survived by her children, Michelle (Scott) Burden of Delaware, OH, Glen Sawyer of Lima, OH, John Sawyer of Lima, OH, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She also has a sister, Wilma Eckman and sister-in-law, Ginny Knupp. She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bob" Knupp and brother-in-law, Cal Eckman. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00pm at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Pastor Marty Moyer to officiate the service. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
