Description	:	Hundreds of people were in attendance at the funeral service for Mrs. Clinton Conrad and her three children who died on Tuesday when fire destroyed their home in New Germany. Services were held in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Wilfred L. Myra and so large was the congregation that more than half had to remain outside the edifice. Services were held in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Wilfred L. Myra and so large was the congregation that more than half had to remain outside the edifice. Mrs. Conrad , who was fatally burned in a heroic attempt to rescue her six children from their flaming home, died several hours after admittance to the D.M. Hospital, Bridgewater, as did her youngest child, James, aged 2. The two other children, Diane and Wayne, were trapped in the burning home. Three children, Geraldine, Marion, and Dale escaped, while their father, Clinton Conrad, is in a critical condition in the Bridgewater Hospital suffering third degree burns received when he went to save his family. Twelve pall bearers carried the three coffins, one holding the remians of the two older children, to the nearby cemetery of Trinity Church where committal was made in two graves. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers sent by sorrowing relatives and friends. Mrs. Conrad, who before marriage was Marie Emino, was 34 years of age. She leaves her husband and three children, Geraldine, Marion, and Dale and her mother, Mrs. Mildred Rhoddy, Aylesford Mountain; one sister, Florence, Mrs. Clifford Doherty ,Tatamagouche; and four brothers, Marcel Emino, Simpson's Corner; James, Milford, Annapolis County; Wilfred and Winfred in Ontario.
