Description	:	Diedre "Dee" Wilcoxen passed peacefully on July 9th, 2020. Born March 23rd, 1947 to parents Delbert and Bernice Swartz in Butte, Montana. Her family moved to Grants, New Mexico for work(mining), where she graduated from high school. In the late 60's, they moved to Fallon, Nevada where she had her first child, Deana. She met Jerald Petersen who was in the U.S. Navy and on December 3, 1971 at Reno, NV they were married. They were stationed in South Carolina where she had her second child, Kelly. Jerald and Dee divorced in October 1982 and she met and married John Wilcoxen. They moved to Jefferson county in 1983 to become the owners/operators of Trail's End Tavern at Southpoint in Port Ludlow. Dee enjoyed being a business owner and loved her customers for 13 years. She loved traveling every summer to North Dakota to visit family. Diedre Wilcoxen was preceded in death by parents Delbert and Bernice, brother Leverett Larsen, husband John, and granddaughter Jocelyn Swartz. She is survived by brothers Dean Swartz(twin) and Milo(Junco)Larsen, sister in law, Inez Larsen, daughters Deana(Kurt Thompson) Swartz, Kelly(Brian) Lawson, Laura Petersen, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. There was a graveside serviced at the Rosehill Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Kenmare News, page 5, July 7, 2021.
