Jobe Oct. 26, 1930-Aug. 25 2009 Born in Missouri, he went to work for McDonnell in the infancy of our space program, proudly working on the Mercury and Gemini and knowing the original seven astronauts. He retired from Lockheed Martin. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fan, an avid tomato grower, and a devout catholic. He is survived by his wife of 58 yrs, Evelyn, four children Debbie Nitschke, Vicki Brown, Steve and Ken Jobe, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
