Mrs. Rush was born in Wayne County October 13, 1896, the daughter of John and Malinda McCullough. She lived all her life in Wayne County Dollie was united in marriage to I.G. Mrs. Rush was born in Wayne County October 13, 1896, the daughter of John and Malinda McCullough. She lived all her life in Wayne County Dollie was united in marriage to I.G. Rush on August 26 1915, Corydon, Iowa, and to this union were born seven children: Twin daughters, Pauline Anderson, Arlene Hawn, William Rush, Elverda Phillips, Marvin Rush, Wilma Hellyer, and Wilbur Rush, who all survive. She is survived by her husband, one brother, Alrie McCullough of Humeston, two sisters, Gail Gadberry, Trenton, Mo., and Jennie Thomas, Lewiston, Mo. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rush was Preceded in death by three sisters, Abbie Abel, Effie Gillespie, and Essie Cruse, and a half-brother, Carson Wyatt. Dollie Rush accepted Christ as her personal savior in 1963 and was baptized into the First Baptist Church of Corydon. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services were held at 2: p.m., Saturday, December 23, 1972 from the Wolf Funeral Home in Corydon, Iowa with the Reverend Roy E. Jones officiating. Favorite music was furnished by Shirley Both and Betty Greenlee. Pallbearers were Raymond Cox, Richard Anderson, Jerry Rush, Bill Mallory, Ronald Copley, and Richard Straight. Interment was in the Corydon Cemetery.
