Read More	Dolores Glenda (Bishop) Eisel of Columbus, Ohio was reunited with her dearly beloved husband Donald and twin sons Mark and Michael on September 14, 2021, at the age of 86. She was born February 16, 1935, in Roanoke, VA, the only child of William Bishop and Heressa "Billie" (Purdue) Bishop. The family moved to Columbus, Ohio when she was an infant and she grew to love music, the arts, and nature. Her childhood dream was to become a dancer. While a teenager, she met the love of her life "Donnie" Eisel at a local record store and they would go on to enjoy many years together while raising their family of five children. Dolores was the queen of her household, was a wonderful homemaker, and she loved and supported her family beyond belief. Her greatest source of joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sharing homemade recipes and making meals from scratch. Some of her favorite games were Monopoly, Uno, Euchre, and 500 Rummy. Dolores' favorite song was "Country Roads" and she loved to sing along whenever it was played. Don and Dolores celebrated their sixty-second wedding anniversary on June 28, 2014. Dolores loved to travel, play cards, attend church events, and adored cheering her grandchildren at sporting events, but most of all loved being in the presence of her family and showing her love. Her family was and always will be her greatest treasure. Dolores, known as "Nannie" to many of her grandchildren, never met a stranger, easily made new friends and was a positive influence everywhere she went. She enjoyed being creative while sewing, crocheting, and making crafts. Some of her favorite moments were spent outside on her swing with a cup of coffee and enjoying nature. She worked outside the home at the Hilltop YMCA providing childcare for many years. Throughout her lifetime she also had several pets, her two birds (Pebbles and Snowball) were among her favorites. She will be greatly missed by 3 daughters, sons-in-law, 7 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, special friends Margaret "Tootsie" and Ruby, and many others that will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Richard Eisel, sons Michael Gregory Eisel and Mark Gary Eisel, grandsons Matthew Eisel, Michael Eisel, and her parents William and Heressa Bishop. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, being an inspiration to all who met her, and being strong in the face of life's challenges. Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, and in every gesture dignity and love. She will be dearly missed but will live on in our hearts forever.
