Kaiser the celebrant. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery. Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m., Wednesday from the Chaney-Walters Funeral Home. Mrs. Marostica, a former Iliff resident, died Sunday in Denver. She was 87. Mrs. Marostica, a former Iliff resident, died Sunday in Denver. She was 87. She was born Oct. 3, 1894, in San Zenone, Italy, the daughter of Giuseppe and Elisabetta Pellizzer Rinaldo and came to this country prior to her Dec. 2, 1920 marriage in Sterling to John L. Marostica Sr. The couple farmed in the 111ff area until retiring in 1960. Mr. Marostica died July 21, 1963 and Mrs. Marostica had been a resident in a Denver area nursing home since 1976. Mrs. Marostica was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, Iliff. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Fil Anich of Haxtun, Mrs. Virginia Frei of Longmont, Mrs. Nana Brandly of Estes Park, Mrs. Marie Skov of Winfield, Kan., Mrs. Rose Landin and Mrs. Roberta Rosas, both of Sterling; four sons, John Marostica Jr., of Johnstown, Victor Marostica of Parma, Idaho, Lawrence Marostica of Collinsville, Conn., and Harry Marostica of Iliff; two brothers, Antonio Ranaldo of Italy and Buster Rinaldo of Sterling; two sisters, Mrs. Regina Brione of Italy and Mrs. Teresa Guglielmin of Argentina; 40 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Chaney-Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
