Mister died at her home in the suburbs of Crisfield on Tuesday morning last after a lingering illness. She was sixty-five years of age. Mrs. Mister was the wife of L. D. Mister, merchant, and was well-known and highly respected in the community. She was a member of Asbury M. E. Church and was a devout Christian woman. She leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss. The deceased is survived by her husband, Mr. L. D. Mister, one sister, Mrs. George M. Merrill, and four brothers, Mr. Algie Sterling, Mr. William Fletcher Sterling, Mr. Charles Sterling, all of Crisfield, and Mr. George E. Sterling, of Suffolk, Va. Funeral services were held at Asbury M. E. Church yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, pastor of the church. Interment was in Asbury cemetery. The Crisfield Times, Crisfield, Maryland, Friday, April 27, 1934 p. 1 _________ Daughter of Mahlon and Esther Anne Sterling Although her gravemarker reads b. 1865, her father's bible and her death certificate give her date of birth as 10 Mar 1869.
