Born in Greenville, SC he was preceded in death by his parents Lewis Washington and Cora Lee Belt. Also, preceded in death by his siblings Wilton, Wayne and Betty Ann Belt. Don was a graduate of Parker High School. After high school, he joined the Navy and was on the USS Yorktown with his younger brother Wayne during Vietnam War. Read More	Donald Aaron Belt, 83, went home to be with his Lord on July 20, 2021 after several years of declining health. Born in Greenville, SC he was preceded in death by his parents Lewis Washington and Cora Lee Belt. Also, preceded in death by his siblings Wilton, Wayne and Betty Ann Belt. Don was a graduate of Parker High School. After high school, he joined the Navy and was on the USS Yorktown with his younger brother Wayne during Vietnam War. He then graduated from USC with a BS in Pharmacy. He was a pharmacist in his career in the Navy/Air Force, traveling the world. After retiring from the military, he worked as a civilian pharmacist until he was 70 years old. He loved being a pharmacist. He loved playing and watching baseball (the Cubs was his favorite team), hot dogs, his cat Pooh Bear, the various churches he was a member over the years, (CPFI) Christian Pharmacist Fellowship International, his beautiful daughter Allison, and his Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Belt and his daughter Allison Lee Belt; nephew William Belt and his sister-in-law, Janice Presley, Becky Presley, Jessica Knecht and brother-in-law Steve Presley. Graveside service at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
