Description	:	Donald D. "Don" Wesch was born to his loving parents Herbert H. "Herb" and Evelyn K. (Schutt) Wesch on Sunday July 27, 1947 at Fremont, Dodge County Nebraska. My research found no information on Don's early childhood or elementary school. Don was raised on a farm just north of the corner of 13 and East County Road T which is west northwest of Ames, Dodge County. (Schutt) Wesch on Sunday July 27, 1947 at Fremont, Dodge County Nebraska. My research found no information on Don's early childhood or elementary school. Don was raised on a farm just north of the corner of 13 and East County Road T which is west northwest of Ames, Dodge County. The farmhouse was GPS coordinates 41.469837, -96.674487, that house was replaced by a new house just to the south. Don assisted his father and three brothers on their dairy farm, they milked a large herd of Holstein. Don also assisted with the other farm work, they had a number of ditch irrigated crop acres. I recall Don setting the ditch siphon tubes to bring the water out of the ditch to the corn rows. Don and I rode together on the school bus in our earlier high school years. We rode together to many Ag class events in each other's cars too. Don had an early fifty green Chevy. After high school Don entered the US Army for three years serving in Germany and Vietnam. Don was united in marriage to Elizabeth Shanahan on March 16, 1974 at Schuyler, Colfax County. Don was a heavy equipment operator on a road construction crew. Don lived in Crete, Saline County for a year when his life sadly expired on Monday June 16, 1980. Don was 32 years, 10 months, 20 days of age which does not include his last day, he lived a total of 12,013 days. Don was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Bend, Dodge County. My research found no information on Don's funeral service. Don was interred in the Woodland Cemetery of North Bend, his grave is on the very south edge about half way back. Don's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Don by his classmate Loren R. I believe all lives matter, even the lives of those who have passed.
