Burial will be in Big Rock Cemetery, Big Rock, Iowa, with graveside military rites. He was born June 24, 1934, in Dewitt, a son of John Feldpausch and Marguerite Martin. Don had served in the Navy during Korean War and had worked in the welding business and wrecker business in Dewitt. He enjoyed traveling and was a twins baseball fan. He also enjoyed having coffee with Mike Osmun and friends. He had been in partnership with Martha Petersen for 30 years at Martha's Cafe in Dewitt. Survivors include, son Christian; three grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Paarmann, of Dewitt; brothers, Raymond, of Dewitt, Joseph (Cheryle) of Fulton, Tom (Mavis) of York, Pa.; special friend and companion, Martha Petersen of Dewitt; special friend Connie Kagemann of Dewitt; sister-in-law Arlene Geer, of New Liberty; brother- in= law Art Petersen of New Liberty; special cousin, Wayne Eserhaut, of Big Rock.
