Description	:	CROWL Donald Ernest Crowl, 86, of Westminster, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at his home. Born Oct. 13, 1917, in Reese, he was the son of the late Ernest Longwell and Leda Giggard Crowl. He was the husband of Alice E. Crowl, his wife of 52 years. He was a graduate of the Westminster High School, class of 1934. He was retired from the Westminster Post Office after 42 years of service. Read More	CROWL Donald Ernest Crowl, 86, of Westminster, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at his home. Born Oct. 13, 1917, in Reese, he was the son of the late Ernest Longwell and Leda Giggard Crowl. He was the husband of Alice E. Crowl, his wife of 52 years. He was a graduate of the Westminster High School, class of 1934. He was retired from the Westminster Post Office after 42 years of service. He was also a farmer. He was a member of St. John Leister's Lutheran Church, a 60-year member of the Door to Virtue Lodge Masonic Lodge 46 AF and AM, a member of the Boumi Temple, Knights Templar. He enjoyed gardening and sports. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters and sons-in-law Susan Crowl Vaughn and Frederick Vaughn of Germantown, Sharon Crowl Kope and Robert Kope of Media, Pa.; sisters S. LaRue Crowl and Anna Rae Crowl Siegman, both of Westminster; granddaughters Jennifer Lynn Hyneman, Tiffany Nicole Vaughn and Amber Shantel Jones, all of Germantown; grandsons Kevin Douglas and Timothy Longwell Douglas of Media, Pa.; stepgrandson Nathan Vaughn; step-great-granddaughter Alexandra Vaughn; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, with his pastor, the Rev. John Morrill, officiating. Interment will be in the Leister's Church Cemetery. The Door to Virtue Lodge will conduct a memorial service Tuesday evening at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
