Description	:	Donald L. Broderick, passed away July 30, 2006 following a long illness. Don was born in Chico, California on January 5, 1928 to Leland Broderick and Vera Carey. He graduated from Shasta Union High School in Redding and then served in the U.S. Navy as an electronic technician. At the close of his naval service, he attended the University of California, Berkley earning a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Don began his work career at Boeing in Seattle, moved to Hewlett-Packard Company in Palo Alto and then dedicated nearly 30 years to Aerojet-General in Azusa as a senior electronics engineer.... He graduated from Shasta Union High School in Redding and then served in the U.S. Navy as an electronic technician. At the close of his naval service, he attended the University of California, Berkley earning a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Don began his work career at Boeing in Seattle, moved to Hewlett-Packard Company in Palo Alto and then dedicated nearly 30 years to Aerojet-General in Azusa as a senior electronics engineer. His work involved extensive travel throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. He was a lifetime member of the IEEE and served in various board positions including, Chairman of the WESCON in 1979 and twice served on the Electronic Conventions, Inc. Board of Directors. Don and his wife, Connie, were married in 1957 and moved to Arcadia where they have resided for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, and their son, Craig and his wife Staci of Colorado, daughters, Eileen and her fiancee Bryan Wilson of Monrovia, and Lynn Lahr and her husband Philip of La Crescenta. He was a proud and loving grandfather to seven grandchildren; Kyle, Amy, Grant, Cody, Mackenzie, Kathryn and Scott. He will be interred, according to his wishes, in Chico, California with a private family service.
