Description	:	The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church for Donald L. Boughton, 53, of Klamath Falls, Ore., who died suddenly at the home of his daughter in California. During the services, Rev. Arlyn Norris officiated, Mrs. Marvin Gravesen was organist and Bud Carlson Sang. Pallbearers were Kenneth Essen, Ronald Boughton, Craig Boughton, Rodney Landers, Gary Boughton and Vern Reed. Military rites were conducted by the Heidenberg-Petersen Post of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, both of Kenmare. Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery with Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Boughton was born July 23, 1925, at Kenmare and was reared in the Kenmare area. He served in the Army during World War II and lived at Kenmare and Tolley before moving to Eureka, Calif., in 1951. He worked for the railroad and lumber industries in Eureka, later moving to Orleans, Calif., where he owned and operated a hardware store and service station until 1970. Then he went to work as a logger, and last June, moved to Klamath Falls, where he operated his own logging firm. He once was married to Malvina Johnson. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Walter, Hayfork, Calif., Mrs. Lee (Lenora) Mahan, Orleans, and Mrs. From the scrapbook of Lillian Lundgren Zeltinger who passed away in 1997.
