Description	:	Rites held for Grace Mickelson Grace O. Mickelson, age 73, of Kenmare, died Tuesday, September 17 at the Kenmare Hospital. Her funeral was held Friday, September 30, 1985, at 10:00 a.m. at the Nazareth Lutheran Church of Kenmare with burial in the Lakeview Cemetery of Kenmare. Officiating for the service was Rev, Mark Bittner of the Kenmare United Methodist Church. Organist was Mrs. Irene Gravesen and soloist was Mrs. Karen Coker. She was born on November 5, 1911, at Kenmare, a daughter of Emil and Olive Ragnhild Petra Freeburg. She was raised in the Kenmare area and attended schools here. After the death of her father, her mother married Floyd Boughton who provided a beautiful family relationship for Grace and her brothers and sisters. She was married to Delmer Mickelson at Minot on March 10, 1931, and they have lived in Kenmare since that time. They celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in 1981. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Kenmare and the Kenmare Senior Citizens. Grace had been ill for some time, but throughout her illness, she continued to be strong in spirit to fight her sickness and to live. She lived to please her family and loved to cook and bake for all to enjoy. She was survived by her husband; son, Lloyd of Billings, Mont,; daughter, Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Erickson of Grand Island, NE., Kimberlee Diamond of Austin, Tex., Marshal Mickelson of Butte, Mt., and Jason Mickelson of Billings, Mt.; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Allen Boughton of Thief River Falls, Mn., and Floyd Boughton of Grand Island, NE.; sisters, Evelyn Eklund of Concord, CA.; Elsie Ulshaver od Zephyrhills, FL.; Elaine Helland of Stanley; and Marjorie Landers of Kenmare; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Oliver freeburg and Donald Boughton. From the Kenmare News.
