He passed away Wednesday, May 4, 1994, while a patient at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 15 days. Don was employed at Ideal Basic Industries as a raw grinder for many years. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Superior, having been baptized December 18, 1992. He enjoyed woodworking, making crafts, such as animals and would make almost anything he put his mind too. Don enjoyed camping and one of his favorite places to travel was to Branson, Missouri. Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Beverly Jo Rogers; a brother, LaVern Rogers; a sister, Dorothy Maxine Rogers; a granddaughter, Nancy Jo Schuster; and a son-in-law, Robert Strnad. Survivors include his wife , Eva of Superior; his children, Patricia Ann Holling and her husband, Dick, and Eleanor Rae Strnad, all of Superior, Diane Elaine Cox and her husband, Arlyce of Belleville, Kansas, Johnnie Leroy Rogers and his wife, JoAnn, and Rita Boswell, all of Superior, and Keith Allen Rogers and his wife, Susan, of Guide Rock; three sisters, Ila B. Wilton and her husband, Clarence, of Superior, Dixie M. Klawitter of Idaho, and Rose I. Fintel of Superior; 3 brothers, Bud B. and his wife, Dorthea of Superior, Val R. and his wife, Florence, of Pamona, California, and Billie D. and his wife, Beverly, of Superior; 11 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
