Description	:	Donald Patrie, 87, rural Bowdon, died Monday, June 21, 1999 at a Bismarck medical center. His funeral will be Saturday, June 26, 2 p.m. at the Bowdon Church of God with burial in Heaton Cemetery. He was born May 25, 1912 to James and Della Patrie on their farm east of Bowdon where he grew up and began working with his father on the family farm. He graduated from Heaton Public School in 1930. Read More	Donald Patrie, 87, rural Bowdon, died Monday, June 21, 1999 at a Bismarck medical center. His funeral will be Saturday, June 26, 2 p.m. at the Bowdon Church of God with burial in Heaton Cemetery. He was born May 25, 1912 to James and Della Patrie on their farm east of Bowdon where he grew up and began working with his father on the family farm. He graduated from Heaton Public School in 1930. In 1943 he moved to Washington where he was employed in the shipyards as a welder. He later returned to North Dakota and farmed east of Bowdon until retiring in the late 1970s. He is survived by brother, James, sister, Beulah Long, both of Rural Bowdon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant twin brother. Don never married.
