Schumers, son Bart (JoAnne) Milner, daughter and son-in-law Christine and Wilf Sparks, sisters Sylvia (Keith Braithwaite) and Gayla (Gord Jacobs), and grandsons Tyler Hansen and Leland Christensen. Predeceased by parents Willis and Lucy (Nilsson) Christensen, husband Kenneth Kay Milner and husband Louis S. Schumers, son Bart (JoAnne) Milner, daughter and son-in-law Christine and Wilf Sparks, sisters Sylvia (Keith Braithwaite) and Gayla (Gord Jacobs), and grandsons Tyler Hansen and Leland Christensen. She is survived by Rebecca (Peter) Christensen, Chriss (Ruth) Milner, Melanie (Brett) Hansen, James Milner, Paige (Herb) ZoBell, Pat Schumers, Shirley (Steve) Ogle, and her brother Jay (Bonnie) Jeffrey of Utah, 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Donna has been a wonderful mom, grandma, aunt and homemaker. She has fulfilled many church callings and has developed many talents throughout her life, including cooking, knitting, woodworking, porcelain doll making, and sewing. Her cheerful countenance, warm hugs, potato salad, and strong testimony will be missed dearly. Friends are welcome to meet with the family on Friday May 29, 2020 from 7:00 to 8:00pm at Salmon and Sons Funeral Home (433 Stubb Ross Road South, Lethbridge). Due to the restrictions on public gatherings, please wait in your vehicle until a staff member comes to get you, Hand sanitizer will be provided. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday May 30, 2020 for those who have been asked to attend. Friends and family may view the Service online by visiting www.salmonandsons.ca.
