Christine (Wilf (deceased)) Sparkes, Pat Schumers, Shirley (Steve) Ogle, Rebecca (Peter) Christensen, Chriss (Ruth) Milner, Bart (deceased)(JoAnne) Milner, Melanie (Brett) Hansen, James Milner, Paige (Herb) ZoBell, with 28 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Clarence and Jenny Schumers (Housley), stepfather John Housley, wife Mary Heninger Schumers, son-in-law Wilf Sparkes, son Bart Milner and grandsons Tyler Hansen and Leland Christensen. He served in the Canadian Navy during WWII and fulfilled church callings, including a mission to Victoria, B.C. with Donna. Being a homebody, Lou loved making his home beautiful and comfy for family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 15th, 2017 at 11:00am, at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, Highway 5, Welling, AB. Friends may meet the family Tuesday March 14th from 7:00 to 8:00pm at the Church, or prior to the funeral service on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45am.
