Description	:	Donna Darlene (Walter) Bublitz was born in Clear Lake, South Dakota on June 15, 1938 to parents Richard and Edna (Rehder) Walter. She was raised in Altamont and attended the Rush Lake country school. Donna worked at the Clear Lake Hatchery for five years and for the Deuel County Good Samaritan Society for a number of years as well as working at Mid Com for 20 years. Read More	Donna Darlene (Walter) Bublitz was born in Clear Lake, South Dakota on June 15, 1938 to parents Richard and Edna (Rehder) Walter. She was raised in Altamont and attended the Rush Lake country school. Donna worked at the Clear Lake Hatchery for five years and for the Deuel County Good Samaritan Society for a number of years as well as working at Mid Com for 20 years. On August 23, 1957 Donna was united in marriage to Harland August Bublitz at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Altamont. To this union they were blessed with five children that they raised in Altamont. Donna enjoyed gardening, canning and raising flowers. Bird and squirrel watching brought enjoyment for many years along with her fish pond. Collecting figurines was a lifelong project for her. Traveling in her later years was something Donna looked forward to. Time spent with family and friends was very important to her especially time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grateful for having shared Donna’s life are her five children: Dale (Deb) Bublitz, Clear Lake, Dean Bublitz, Altamont, Dawn (Rodney) Stohr, Bemis, Douglas (Jeanne) Bublitz and David Bublitz both of Altamont; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Walter and one sister, Marlys Walter both of Altamont, one sister-in-law, Lydia (Vince) Thompson, Lewiston, ID; three sisters-in-law: Marie Bublitz, Elorise Bublitz and many nieces and nephews. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and numerous bothers and sisters-in-law.
