Description	:	Donna Eudell Lewis, 71, of Pierce, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, in Pierce, at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012, with Rev. Gordon Bruce officiating. Interment will be in the Prospect View Cemetery in Pierce. She was baptized June 9, 1941, at the home of her parents, and confirmed April 13, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church in Pierce. She graduated from Pierce High School in 1959 and then graduated from Wayne State College in 1996 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and sociology. She married Eugene Lewis July 22, 1962, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pierce. After marriage, the couple lived in Columbus till 1985. They then moved to Lincoln to Pierce in 1988. She worked at Dale Electronics in Columbus and Norfolk. Then she worked at BD in Columbus. She setup self sufficiency homes for State of Northeast Nebraska Housing. She later retired. She enjoyed her granddaughters, family, gardening, sewing, playing cards and baking. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Pierce. She is survived by three children, Doug, and wife, Jean Lewis, of Plainview, Barbara, and husband, Steven Buettgenbach, of Pierce, and Sheryl Lewis, of Pierce; four granddaughters; five step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert and wife, Glenda Zierke, of Pierce; and one sister, Patricia, and husband, Dale Koehler, of Pierce. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, LeRoy; and one sister, Connie Lee.
