In 1954 the couple moved to a farm south of Stanhope and in 1957 they moved to Webster City. She worked at the First State Bank, for 28 years, retiring in 1987. She is survived by; her husband, Hans; a sister, Loa Dell Edwards, Harlan; brother, Terry Handy, Mesa, Ariz.; and several nieces & nephews and cousins.
