Description	:	Donna Lea was born May 22, 1936 in rural Victor, Iowa, the daughter of Rex Palmer and Thelma Elizabeth Shaull Foster. She received her early education in the country schools and graduated from Victor High School in 1954. Donna married Vernon Edward Van Lancker on October 5, 1955 at the Victor United Methodist Church. The couple later divorced. Donna enjoyed listening to the music of the 50’s, and the old time country music. She was an avid Hawkeye fan, especially the Mens’ and Women’s Basketball, and Football. She enjoyed bowling, watching television, and playing Skip Bo and euchre.... Donna liked to watch and feed the birds outside her apartment window. She took great interest in her family and close friends and cherished each and every moment with them. She also loved animals, and Abby, her Yorkie, was a constant companion for years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Marilyn Kay Foster in 1951.
