Donna Mae Studelska was born on July 28, 1935 at Alcester, SD to Gregory and Ellen (Roberts) Studelska. When she was a teenager her family moved to Marion where she graduated from Marion High School in 1953. On October 10, 1955 she was united in marriage to Arthur Engbrecht at Marion. To this union they were blessed with three daughters, Debra Anna, Loretta Ellen, and Mary Elizabeth. She had attended beauty school in Sioux Falls and opened Donna's Beauty Salon in September of 1959 where she worked out of her home as a hairstylist until the age of 63. Donna enjoyed her relationships with her customers that soon became lifelong friends. Most of Donna's life was spent loving and caring for her family, children, grandchildren, and a great grandchild. She longed for the summer months when her grandchildren came to stay, summer fun, softball, baseball, fishing, swimming, and picnics. She was a member of the First Church of God where she held office in Ladies Mission Circle and taught Vacation Bible School. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Arthur; two daughters, Debra Hepner, Sioux Falls and Loretta (Don) Lueders, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren, David, Anna, Ethan, Logan, and Landon; and a great grandchild, Jazaleyn; a brother Tom (Vicki) Studelska, Wagner, SD; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert and Gregory, and daughter Mary Elizabeth.
