Berck, the daughter of Linley and Opal (Scott) Berck, was born at Torrington, Wyoming, on May 1, 1941, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 31, 2015 at the age of 74. Berck, the daughter of Linley and Opal (Scott) Berck, was born at Torrington, Wyoming, on May 1, 1941, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 31, 2015 at the age of 74. Donna grew up in southern Oregon. Church was important to her family. As a child she accepted Christ as her Savior. From childhood her desire was to be a missionary nurse. In 1959 she graduated from Eagle Point High School. That same year she enrolled at Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. Immediately after her graduation in 1962 she joined Canadian Sunday School Mission and served as a missionary in Alberta for thirty years. In 1993 Donna moved to Marquette, Nebraska to care for her mother until she passed away in 1997. During that time she taught Joy Clubs for children under Bible Club Mission and was employed by Hamilton Manor. Donna moved to Aurora after that and cared for her father in her home for many years before his death in 2014. She was known for her love for children and for house plants and for the ladies' Bible studies she taught. She will be missed by her friends at Faith Community Church and at Memorial Community Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Alvin Berck and brother-in-law, Mike Juzyk. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her sister, Joyce Juzyk of Aurora; 3 nieces; 7 nephews; and many grand nieces and grand nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Community Church in Aurora. The Rev. Bob Gannon will officiate. Interment will be in the Richland Cemetery near Marquette at 10 a.m. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Donna R.
