Description	:	Donald Dean Meagher was born Aug 19, 1953 at Chamberlain to Robert and Lorraine (Merrihew) Meagher. He attended LaRoche Country School near Academy, SD and later Kimball High School at Kimball, SD. He worked for Don and Virg Natvig in Kimball, SD before moving to Rapid City, SD where he was employed at the Black Hills Chemical. Around 1974, Donnie returned to Chamberlain area and worked for Lee Schoenhard at the feedlot, Cle-Kal car dealership, and later for Donald Schoenhard in the sales department at Don's Ford dealership where he later became a partner and then owner. In 1976, Donnie was united in marriage to Lorri Cleland at Chamberlain. In 1988, Donnie was united in marriage to Della Bunnell in Oacoma. Donnie served on the Board of Directors of the S.D. Automobile Dealers Association. Donnie was well known for his service after sale. Donnie will always be remembered for his generosity. He was always willing to help someone when needed, be it his time or whatever. He was sure to take care of everyone before himself. To the many friends, Donnie was known as a joker with a crazy sense of humor. He would always say that everything in his life was for sale EXCEPT his children. His children and granddaughter were the greatest joy in his life. Donnie passed away on Sep 28, 2008 at Sanford Mid Dakota Medical Center at Chamberlain at the age of 55 years. Gratefully sharing in his life are his mother Lorraine Meagher of Chamberlain; his wife Della of Chamberlain; 2 daughters Jessica Meagher and Dennis Reed and Hilary Meagher both of Chamberlain; son Blake Meagher of Chamberlain; a granddaughter Morgan Meagher of Chamberlain; 3 sisters Karen ( Merrill) Haynes of Chamberlain, Linda (Joe) Mason of Chamberlain, Shirley (George) Simmons of Aurora, CO; a brother Robert Meagher of Chamberlain; 2 special cousins Donna and Gary Urban; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father.
