Description	:	Mrs. Dora E. Bland, 86, 504 S. 13th St., died Sunday at a Norfolk hospital where she had been a patient for about a week. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Home for Funerals. The body will lie in state Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. Dora Parks was born Dec. 25, 1873, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. The body will lie in state Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. Dora Parks was born Dec. 25, 1873, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Parks. She married George Bland in 1895 and they had three sons and three daughters. One son died in infancy and Mr. Bland died in 1936. Survivors are two sons, M. L. and Carl Bland of Battle Creek; four daughters, Mrs. Maude Rouse, Norfolk, Mrs. Pearle Turk, Independence, Mo.; Mrs. May Smith, Truth or Consequences, N.M.; Mrs. Ella Ryan, Silver Spring, Md.; a sister who lives in Virginia; a grandson and two granddaughters. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Reuss, Otto Burkhardt, Frank Schlueter, Fred Perrigo, Wesley Hansing and L. A. Walker.
