Description	:	Dorene Galloway LaCooix, 77, of Brevard, North Carolina died at her residence on June 22, 2011. Dorene was a daughter of the late Joe and Bessie Owen Galloway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve E. LaCroix; a daughter, Pamela LaCroix; three brothers; Dawson, Elvin and Delbert Galloway, and one sister, Doris Galloway. She served in the US Air Force and lived in Texas for many years until moving back to her home in North Carolina. She worked in banking for the majority of her career and after retirement she worked in her daughter's store "Cotn" in Brevard. She... She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve E. LaCroix; a daughter, Pamela LaCroix; three brothers; Dawson, Elvin and Delbert Galloway, and one sister, Doris Galloway. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Coblentz and husband Andy of Lake Toxaway, N. C. and Stephanie LaCroix of Brevard, N. C.; two brothers, Joe Travis Galloway and Rex Galloway both of Lake Toxaway, N. C., three sisters, Marlene Johnson, Joretta Owe, both of Lake Toxaway, N. C., and Brenda Tomlo of Hendersonville, N. C., and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P. M. at Lake Toxaway Baptist Church, Saturday, June 25, 2011 with Rev. Danny Byers, Rev. Kerry Purselle and Rev. Rex Galloway officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, June 24, 2011 at Moore Funeral Home from 6 - 8 P. M. Moore Funeral Home is caring for the family.
