Description	:	Doris Alberteen Fox, 90, of 1964 Brookstone Rd., Luray, died on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at MontVue Nursing Home. She was born on Oct. 28, 1926, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Harry Cletus Miller and Viola Beahm Sours Miller. Mrs. Fox was a member of Morning Star Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir for many years, taught young children in Sunday school and Vacation Bible School, and was an active member of the Morning Star Lutheran Women. Read More	Doris Alberteen Fox, 90, of 1964 Brookstone Rd., Luray, died on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at MontVue Nursing Home. She was born on Oct. 28, 1926, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Harry Cletus Miller and Viola Beahm Sours Miller. Mrs. Fox was a member of Morning Star Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir for many years, taught young children in Sunday school and Vacation Bible School, and was an active member of the Morning Star Lutheran Women. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 621 Auxiliary. On July 5, 1946, she married Edward Roy Fox, who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Roger L. Fox and wife Sue Fox of Luray; a sister, Juanita “Chris” Good of Luray; and one grandson, Erik R. Fox of Luray. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Garland Randolph, James Lenford, Richard P., Robert Lynwood, William Edward “Hot Shot” and Harry Cletus Miller Jr. A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, March 21, at the Morning Star Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jeffrey D. Marble. Burial was in the Morning Star Cemetery in Luray. The family received friends on Monday, March 20, at the Bradley Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morn ing Star Lutheran Women, in care of Carolyn Burner, 736 Fairview Rd., Luray, Va. 22835. (Paid Obituary)
