Description	:	William Edward “Hot Shot” Miller, 91, of 713 Fairview Rd., Luray, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was born on June 28, 1923, in Luray and was a son of the late Harry Cletus Miller and Viola Beahm Sours Miller. Mr. Miller was an Army veteran, having served during World War II. He was a member of the Morning Star Lutheran Church, the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621 and the Lafayette Lodge 137 A.F.&.A.M. for more than 25 years. He is survived by three daughters, Judy Kennedy and husband Paul of Stanley, Jean Stodolsky and husband Ed of Mercer, Pa., and Brenda Jenkins and husband Don of Luray; one son, Edward DeWane Miller and wife Michelle of Stanley; two sisters, Doris Fox and Juanita “Chris” Good, both of Luray; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, James Lenford, Garland Randolph, Richard P., Robert Lynwood and Harry Cletus Miller Jr. A funeral service was conducted on Saturday, March 28, at the Morning Star Lutheran Church in Luray by the Rev. Jeffrey D. Marble. Burial was in Morning Star Lutheran Cemetery, with military honors by the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621.
