Doris was born July 12, 1932, to Otto and Mabel (Carter) Kumpf. On February 13, 1952 she was united in marriage to Dean Richard White at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Shelby. After Dean received his honorable discharge, she and Dean moved back to Shelby, where they continued farming until retiring in 1994. (Pat) Kumpf of Omaha; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, at the Shelby United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Spearow officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, at the church. Interment will be in the Shelby Cemetery.
