Description	:	Doris Delanor Noland, 83, passed away on September 3rd, 2021 after a hard fought battle with dementia. After a long good bye she left surrounded by her loved ones. Doris was born on January 25th, 1938 to Roy and Delanor Killenbeck in Scobey, MT. She was raised on the Killenbeck farm and educated in Scobey. Upon graduation, Doris attended Pacific Lutheran College and completed her teaching certificate at Eastern Montana College. Doris was born on January 25th, 1938 to Roy and Delanor Killenbeck in Scobey, MT. She was raised on the Killenbeck farm and educated in Scobey. Upon graduation, Doris attended Pacific Lutheran College and completed her teaching certificate at Eastern Montana College. She was employed as a 5th grade teacher in Whitefish, where she met her future husband, Kenneth Noland. Soon after their marriage they moved to the family farm north of Four Buttes where they raised their 3 children, Mike, Charmaine and Roy. After the sale of the farm, they pursued many different business adventures including Paus-Strom Hardware, Daniels County OK Hardware and Noland Implement. In 1983 they relocated to Billings where Doris finished her working career, spending 18 years behind the service counter at Shipton's Big R. Doris was actively involved in several organizations including Eastern Star, Republican Women, Sons of Norway, Daughters of the Nile, Global Grannies and Red Hat Society. She was an active member of Atonement Lutheran Church. She never missed an opportunity to socialize with her friends and family. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Surviving her are her children, Mike (Lynn) Noland, Charmaine (David) Noland Noret and Roy (Teri) Noland. Doris is also survived by her sisters Enid (Bob) Krauth and Jo Killenbeck She is leaving behind 8 grandchildren; Chris (Brenna) Noland, Taira Smith, Jeremy (Jenell) McCarty, Charles (Vera) Meador, Pat (Lisa) Chapel, Aubrey (Chris) Workman, Bryan Chapel and Blane Chapel. She was blessed with 16 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Atonement Lutheran Church on Friday, September 10th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church or charity of your choice. Published by Smith Funeral Chapel, Billings, MT on September 9, 2021
