Description	:	1927 - Dec. 10, 2006 Doris Jean Titterington, nee Frymire, was born on February 20, 1927, in Vancouver, Washington. A lover of music from a very early age, Doris performed her first piano recital when she was 12 years old. She spent her childhood and school years in East Mill Plain, where she graduated from the old Union High School in 1944. She continued to study music performance and pedagogy, and graduated in 1948 from Cascade College with a degree in piano. A lover of music from a very early age, Doris performed her first piano recital when she was 12 years old. She spent her childhood and school years in East Mill Plain, where she graduated from the old Union High School in 1944. She continued to study music performance and pedagogy, and graduated in 1948 from Cascade College with a degree in piano. On September 5th, 1950, Doris married her college sweetheart Howard Titterington and they had three sons together. A homemaker, Doris spent many happy years taking care of her family. She taught piano lessons from her home and played many years for the Eureka Church of the Nazarene, where she was also a longtime active member. Doris was predeceased by her parents, William and Lucy Frymire; her infant sister, Olivia, and infant twin brothers, Harold and Homer. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard; her brother, Colonel William Dale Frymire (ret.); her son, Don and his wife, Connie; her son, Dick and his wife, Becky, as well as her son, Dwaine and his wife, Abby. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Peter, Julie, Jon, Troy, Ella, Gina, and Ian Titterington, and her great-granddaughter, Daphne and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Friday, December 22, 2006, at 12:30pm, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, WA. A classical piano prelude will start at 12:15pm, and music will be performed during the service by various family members. A visitation will be held on December 21, 2006 from 4:00 to 9:00pm at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite church or charity.
