Description	:	ROANOKE, VA ~ Doris Cox Bradley, 66, a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, died Monday, May 12, 2003. Mrs. Bradley was born in Pilot Mountain Jan. 12, 1937, a daughter of Avery and Ora Stone Cox. She was a graduate of Pilot Mountain High School and also a graduate of National Business College in Roanoke. She was the owner of Doris C. Bradley Accountant Inc. and was a member of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her mother, Ora Stone Cox; her son and daughter-in-law, A. Mrs. Bradley was born in Pilot Mountain Jan. 12, 1937, a daughter of Avery and Ora Stone Cox. She was a graduate of Pilot Mountain High School and also a graduate of National Business College in Roanoke. She was the owner of Doris C. Bradley Accountant Inc. and was a member of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her mother, Ora Stone Cox; her son and daughter-in-law, A. Mac Bradley IV and Lois Peterson Bradley, and their children, Emily Bradley, John Bradley and Matthew Bradley, all of High Point; her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Bradley Parcell and Robert "Bob" Scott Parcell, and their children, Annie Parcell, Margaret Parcell and Bradley Parcell, all of Rocky Mount, Va.; a sister, Ruth Parks, of High Point; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Carol Cox of High Point; a sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Bob Frans of Pilot Mountain; two sisters-in-law, Archie Cox and Betsy Cox, both of Pilot Mountain; nine nieces; and six nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. William Fintel and his staff and also the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for the special care of Doris during her illness. The funeral service will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2003, at Oakey's South Chapel with Pastor David Peterson officiating. The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Airy. Memorials maybe made to St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Roanoke, Va., or Holly Springs Baptist Church, 630 Holly Springs Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening, May 14, 2003, at Oakey's South Chapel in Roanoke. Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain is assisting the Bradley family.
