Graveside inurnment will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, in Oakwood Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of North Iowa, 232 2nd St SE, Mason City, IA 50401. Doris was born September 11, 1918, in Garner, the daughter of Calvin and Ethel (Derr) Willford. She grew up and attended country school in Plymouth. She was united in marriage to Francis Evans in 1938. She later married Nile Tack in 1981. She was united in marriage to Francis Evans in 1938. She later married Nile Tack in 1981. Doris was a homemaker most of her life while helping on the family farm. She was a member of Plymouth United Methodist Church, and attended Plymouth Road Bible Church later in life. She enjoyed collecting dolls, crocheting, and doing crafts. She also had a love for cats, raising many throughout her life. She worked with her husband, Francis, at DX Gas Station in Plymouth. Every winter she and husband, Nile traveled to Benson, AZ. Doris is survived by two children, Marlys Kloster of Des Moines and Roger Evans of Burt, IA; Marilyn Popinga of Mason City; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Reva Pedelty of Nora Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Francis and Nile; two sisters, Thelma Willford and Phyllis Peterson; and a brother, Carl Willford.
