Description	:	JAY - Doris Yvonne (Long) Willis, 74-year old Jay, Okla., resident passed from this life on Sunday, April 2, 2006, after a brave three-year battle with lung cancer. She was born in Maysville, Ark., on July 19, 1931, the daughter of Thomas and Floy Long. She attended Jay School. She retired from the State Department of Tourism where she worked for 10 years. Read More	JAY - Doris Yvonne (Long) Willis, 74-year old Jay, Okla., resident passed from this life on Sunday, April 2, 2006, after a brave three-year battle with lung cancer. She was born in Maysville, Ark., on July 19, 1931, the daughter of Thomas and Floy Long. She attended Jay School. She retired from the State Department of Tourism where she worked for 10 years. She had moved away but had been back in Jay for the last 19 years. She is survived by husband Robert Willis of the home; three children, Diane Kepke and husband Ryan of Jay, Steve Brown and wife Beverly of Inola, Okla., Anthony Rockefeller of Tulsa; seven grandchildren, Lisa, Julie, Jana, Morgan, Shannon, Mykel, Kyle and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Hendren and husband Julian of Gravette, Ark., Imogene Wardlow of Tulsa; and many friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Floy Long, and one brother, Harlie Long. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Her family was her life and playing cards, the game "Aggravation," gave her a great deal of pleasure. Her pet bird "Birdie" was a source of joy to her. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, at the Turner Funeral Chapel in Jay. Ryan W. Kepke officiated, assisted by Danny Bingham. Interment was in Maysville Cemetery. Services were entrusted to Turner Funeral Chapel of Jay. ********** Note: She was actually born in Delaware County, Oklahoma. Maysville, Arkansas is a border town in Benton County, Arkansas with portions of the community lying in Delaware County, Oklahoma. She was first married on January 4, 1949 in Benton County, Arkansas to Robert Elwood Brown. She married second circa April 1954 in Texas to Reed Francis Bray. She married third to Robert Willis on June 22, 1968 in Neosho, Newton County, Missouri.
