Miss Ashton was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Little Flower Circle #503 of the Daughters of Isabella and Victory Life 25th Club. Survivors include four cousins; Howard Anderson and his wife Marcella, Marjorie Ybarra, Leon Clerico and his wife Gen, all of Topeka and LeRoy Clerico of Wichita. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Miss Ashton will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home from 3 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday where the Little Flowers Circle #503 of the Daughters of Isabella will pray a rosary at 3:30 p.m. followed by a parish prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the chapel at St. Francis Health Center and sent in care of the funeral home.
