Florida, who died Tuesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Charles Paulson, Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery in Humboldt, Kans., Saturday, under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors. A homemaker she was a native of Humboldt, Kans., and a Borger resident for 35 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include one son, Sidney E. Brinkman, of Wichita Kans.; three daughters, Frances Wallingford of Coffeyville, Kans., Betty Bartram of Fritch, and Dorothea Messenger of Borger; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Dorothea owned the little neighborhood store across the street from the house where I grew up, and am now living today, although the little store is now a vacant lot. She sold me lots of nickel Hershey bars (big ones) when we got our 'nickel day' every Wednesday. Her daughter Dorothea and grandchildren lived up the street from us and we treasure those memories. She was a precious lady and the first person I ever knew that used bluing on her beautiful white hair!
