Dorothy Ann Rezac was born Dec. 22, 1930 in Beaver Crossing, to Anna (Walla) and William Rezac. She moved to Sidney with her family at a young age and received her education from Sidney High School, later earning a teaching certificate at Kearney College. She married Dale Kruse June 16, 1948 im Sidney. Dot worked various jobs before applying for a job at Cabela's, where she was employed for nearly thirty years. She had many positions at Cabela's and retired as head of customer service. Dot was an active of St. Patrick's Catholic Church where she was a lay Eucharistic and Liturgical Minister. She was also active in the Renew Group and Shareshop. Dot was treasurer of the Living Memorial Gardens, which allowed her to pursue her passion for gardening. Dot will be greatly missed by her husband Dale, daughter Vicki and husband Loren Fairbanks of Kearney; daughter Darcy and her husband Robert Egging of Oswego, Ill. and son Brett amd his wife Debbie of Houson, Texas. Dot took great pride in her four grandsons Justin Abbott, Trent Abbott, Patrick Kruse and Ryan Kruse and her great-granddaughter Megan. Dot was preceeded in death by her son Jerry Kruse, her parents, her two brothers, William Rezac and Don Rezac; and her two sisters, Mildred Neet and Helen Peterson.
