Description	:	Dorothy Ann Froelich, 89, Topeka, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born Dec. 12, 1913, the daughter of John Durkin and Katherine Rhomberg Durkin. She graduated from Topeka Catholic High School in 1932. Mrs. Froelich was a member of the Church of the Assumption, a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella, Little Flower Circle No. 503 and the St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary. She married Lawrence C. She graduated from Topeka Catholic High School in 1932. Mrs. Froelich was a member of the Church of the Assumption, a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella, Little Flower Circle No. 503 and the St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary. She married Lawrence C. Froelich on Nov. 25, 1943, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1972. Mrs. Froelich also was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert, in 1949. Mrs. Froelich and her husband had lived in Wichita, Russell, Hutchinson and Pembina, N.D., before moving back to Topeka in 1965 due to Mr. Froelich's health. Survivors include two sons, Larry Froelich and Jerry Froelich, both of Tecumseh; two daughters, Kathy Fredette, Moorhead, Minn., and Patricia Smart, Great Falls, Va.; two sisters, Frances Melchior and Elizabeth Durkin, both of Topeka; and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Froelich bequeathed her body to The University of Kansas School of Medicine for research. Memorial Mass will be at a later date Memorial contributions maybe made to Assumption School, 735 S.W.
