Dorothy was born July 3, 1915 in Watertown, South Dakota to Henry and Elva Ginsbach. She was the oldest of seven children and was raised on the homestead in Redig, SD. The center... Read More	DOROTHY ANN (GINSBACH) SNOOZY SORENSON, 92, of Belle Fourche was born to eternal life on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Belle Fourche Regional Senior Care. Dorothy was born July 3, 1915 in Watertown, South Dakota to Henry and Elva Ginsbach. She was the oldest of seven children and was raised on the homestead in Redig, SD. She married Ralph "James" Snoozy in 1935 in Redig and to this marriage seven children were born. Jim passed away in 1965. In 1968 she married George Sorenson. George passed away in 1997. The center focus of her life was her family and grandchildren, who she loved and thoroughly enjoyed. She always enjoyed a good card game with family and friends. Many hours were spent reading her favorite books. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul's Altar Society and the VFW and AMVETS Auxilliary. She was also one of the organizers of Post Prom. She is survived by her children, Wayne (Sharon) Snoozy of Klamoth Falls, OR, Leslie "Chuck" (Julie) Snoozy of Belle Fourche, Eldon (Maria) Snoozy of Boring, OR, Gail Didow of Burton, Ohio, Mike (Barbara) Snoozy of Portland, OR and William "Bill" (Debbie) Snoozy of Belle Fourche; step-children, George Sorenson Jr. of Belle Fourche, Jim Sorenson of Lakewood, CO and JoAnn Nussbaum of San Antonio, TX; 21 grandchildren, 45 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren; three brothers, Tom Ginsbach of Buffalo, SD, Gerald Ginsbach and Jim Ginsbach, both of Belle Fourche. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Ralph "Jim" Snoozy and George Sorenson; sister, Eleanor; brothers, Bud Ginsbach and Albert Ginsbach; son Ralph "Keith" Snoozy and son-in-law, Don Didow. Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, March 13 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Belle Fourche with Father Tim Hoag officiating. Burial followed at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche.
