Read More	Daughter of Maurice Hersperger Chiswell and Lillian Marguerite "Marjorie" Waters Wife of Richard Garrott Walker Obituary Frederick News Post - September 20, 1990 Mrs. Dorothy Chiswell Walker, 67, of Clubhouse Road, Gaithersburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the residence of her son. Born in Dickerson, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Marjorie Waters Chiswell. Mrs. Walker lived most of her life in Gaithersburg and she retired in 1983 from Montgomery County Public Schools after serving 28 years as the registrar at Gaithersburg High School. She attended Washington College and was a member of Alpha Omega Pi Sorority. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg. Surviving are one son, R. Garry Walker, of Damascus; one daughter, Joan L. Pope, of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; two brothers, Maurice W. Chiswell, of Gaithersburg, and William L. Chiswell, of Derwood; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 24 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Grace United Methodist Church, 119 N. Frederick Ave., Gaithersburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the church. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Montgomery County Hospice Society, 6701 Wisconsin Ave., Chevy Chase, Md. 20815. Arrangements are being handled by the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville.
